Andy is my Hero

A C-Section was something Andy and I were not prepared for at all. We hadn't read up on it, didn't know about the recovery and obstacles of a C-Section and had to learn as we went. I honestly didn't know what to expect and the one thing I learned about Andy was that he is a rock in a crisis. The man asked all the right questions about every procedure for me and for Carson, waited on me hand and foot, woke when I woke to feed the baby, did all the diaper changes, helped me do everything and I do mean EVERYTHING that I couldn't do for myself. I'm sure he felt like he had two babies for a while there. The only time he left my side was to go get breakfast in the cafeteria and even then he got it to go and came right back. I have never been so grateful for his support.
He wasn't finished once we left the hospital either. For the rest of my recovery, he and my mom barely let me get up and spent all their time cooking, getting me water, food, medicine, helping me up the stairs, taking the baby so I could sleep, whatever I needed there was no question. I think I found a real keeper.
